First, I’m officially on an indefinite hiatus from shooting portraits. I’m getting back to photography basics, focusing on my urban work. Currently I’m reviewing and organizing my selections for my city portfolio, along with beginning selections for the street portrait book. Once these two are polished and complete, I’ll begin pulling selections from them to put into the Certain Frequencies book, which is my primary photography project right now.

As I’m going through my work, I’m keeping an eye out for shots that might work well for composite concepts like this one. It’s a visual dynamic I’m really drawn to and I want to do a lot more of it.
